A boy was rescued after he fall down a 40-foot-deep well while playing near his home in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, on December 21.

CCTV footage captured the moment the child lost his balance and fell into the well at Pawan Jain's house.

Hearing the cries of the child and his friend, the boy's family rushed to his rescue. Within three minutes he was pulled out of the well without any injuries.

One of the boys is seen walking along the narrow edge of the elevated platform in the middle of the courtyard when he trips and falls through a small grate covering the well.

The child screams for help as his friend who is riding his bicycle quickly gets off it and rushes to help him.

Hearing the cries of the children, the family members rushed out of the house.
