An artist burned a cardboard to draw The Addams Family Netflix heroine ‘Wednesday' in a lit fire painting.

Footage shows Mejeyd Tribo darkening the paper with a candle to prepare the canvass in his bedroom in Bulacan province, the Philippines on December 12.

To define the details, Mejeyd used a white-coloured pen before the Addams girl's beautiful image emerged.

Aside from Hollywood actress Jenna Ortega's character, Mejeyd also uses the technique to draw birds and internet celebrity Bella Poarch.

He said: ‘I used a candle and vellum board for my fire paintings. I am happy that many people loved what I was doing. I plan on making a fire painting series using different colours.'

‘Wednesday' is a supernatural mystery television series based upon the character from The Addams Family cartoon.
