After a harrowing experience, all is well for an 8-year-old boy that fell into a 28-foot-deep well in Damoh, India on Monday (December 19).

This dramatic CCTV footage shows the young boy walking near the narrow edge of the wall before a quick-minded and heroic homeowner rushes to rescue the boy, getting him out in a matter of minutes.

Pawan Kuman Jain heard his young neighbor Arnav fell into the well after being alerted by another child. Jain quickly tied a rope to the boy's leg and was later accompanied by family members to finish the rescue.

"I thank God that nothing happened to this kid," Jain said.

Owner of the house Pawan Kumar Jain while narrating about the entire incident tells Newsflare , Arnav ( 8 years) was walking on the edge of the well which is 28 feet deep ( water till 13 feet only) , during that he fell onto covered net of the well , but don't know how the net broke and he fell down into the well .
Luckily another kid was there , before alerting us about the incident he told Arnav to hold the pipe which had gone inside the well . Pawan tells we suddenly ran to his rescue , i suddenly went down the well and tied his leg with rope knot with above the well . Than my family members who were above the well pulled him outside with the help of the rope .
Luckily he got no injuries in this accident .
Pawan tells both the children who were playing in his courtyard are from his neighbouring house . I than God that nothing happened to this kid
