A resident was baffled by a 'strange creature' seen walking next to his sleeping pet dog at home.

Jaymar Tamayo was checking on his pooch in the security camera when he saw something move on the screen in Manila, the Philippines on November 14.

CCTV footage shows the unidentified object appearing to crawl inches away from the black dog.

Curious, Jaymar replayed the footage and showed it to his family, but when they went out to check, the dog was alone, sleeping in the garage.

He said: ‘I thought it was just dirt or insect in the camera, but it was clean when we inspected.

'The strange creature looked like a Pokemon. I don't know what it was. It was so creepy.'

Jaymar said he has still not been able to figure out what the mystery object was.
