This is the shocking moment a 5-year-old girl in China burst into tears after her sister accidentally poured boiling soup on her.

In the video filmed at the girl’s home in China's Guizhou province, three siblings are sitting around a table where the ginger soup was boiling on a small cooker.

When the elder sister tries to remove the pot, she accidentally knocked it all over her sister sitting across the table.

The girl immediately jumped up and ran into the room crying loudly. She was scalded on both thighs and still in the hospital, but the doctor says there is no serious problem.

被烫女孩的妈妈王女士称，自己女儿5岁了，视频里另外两个孩子是大哥家的，因为近期疫情严重，奶奶经常煮姜水喝。当时奶奶正熬着姜汤，就去楼下买东西了，没在家。孩子不会弄才打翻了汤水，女儿的两个大腿被烫伤，目前还在住院，医生说没有太大的问题。
