Two wild monkeys hitchhiked onto a moving tourist's car in Thailand.

The pair of long-tailed macaques jumped on the sedan when the driver slowed down to watch the view along a forest road in Chonburi province on December 23.

Both creatures then clung on either side mirrors as the confused tourist continued travelling.

Driver Waratthorn Rangsiyawong said: ‘I was on my way up the hill when I saw the animals. I slowed down to see the views, but then they hopped to my car.'

Waratthorn added the windows were opened because he was trying to see the roads clearly so they almost entered his car.

He said: ‘I immediately closed the window. I was so shocked.'

However, the two monkeys left his car when he stopped at his destination.

He said: ‘They disappeared back to the trees when I stopped my car. I wouldn't know what to do if they didn't leave.'
