Large rocket debris was spotted burning in southern China’s village. The video was filmed by local villagers on December 29 in Longlin Autonomous County, Baise City, Guangxi Province.

Villagers rushed to watch the debris, scattered in many places in the mountainous area, with the largest wreckage the size of a minibus.

Officials said the debris was a booster from the rocket launch and did not cause any injury. The staff has gone to the place to retrieve the debris.

It’s reported that the Long March-3B carrier rocket was blasted off the Xichang Satellite Launch Center at 12.43 am on December 29. The satellite entered the planned orbit and the mission was a complete success.

Baise has been the Xichang Satellite Launch Center rocket debris landing area and the local authority has repeatedly published the public evacuation notice.

隆林县蒙里村一名村民介绍，残骸掉落大概在中午12时50分许，他前去荒坡查看，看到物体还在冒烟起火，有多名村民已前往围观。该村民表示，残骸散落多处，最大的残骸相当于一辆小巴车。
据新华社消息，12月29日12时43分，我国在西昌卫星发射中心使用长征三号乙运载火箭，成功将试验十号02星发射升空，卫星顺利进入预定轨道，发射任务获得圆满成功。
据资料显示，广西百色是西昌卫星发射中心火箭残骸落区，当地曾多次公开发布火箭残骸落区群众安全疏散的公告。
