STORYLINE:
Israeli forces Friday morning detained a Palestinian and injured 35 others in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to WAFA.
She said that a sizable army force barged its way into the Old City of Nablus from several directions, where the heavily-armed soldiers surrounded a house and eventually detained a 17-year-old teen.
The raid triggered violent confrontations, which saw the soldiers opening fire towards local youths who attempted to block their entry, injuring 35, according to Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency and Ambulance Department at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
