A dazzling Gemini meteor shower lit up the night sky in northern China.

Time-lapse video filmed at Suo'Erqi National Wetland Park in Arun Banner in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on December 14, 2022, shows hundreds of meteors streaking through the night sky per hour.

According to reports, it was the last major meteor shower of 2022.

The last meteor shower of the year in the Northern Hemisphere peaks on the night of December 14.

This time-lapse video filmed in Suo'Erqi National Wetland Park in Arun Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region shows the Geminids meteor shower happening and hundreds of meteors streaking across the sky per hour.

Shooting stars happen a few times a year, and the Perseids, Orionids and Geminids are the most prominent ones.
