A crash caused a huge fire and injured one on G93 Chengyu Ring Expressway in southwest China.

Dramatic footage filmed in Sichuan’s Suining on January 4 shows the blaze engulfing the trucks and thick black smoke pouring out of the wrecks.

Firefighters used water cannons to control the fire and clean the site to prevent burning again.

Through efforts, the fire was extinguished more than four hours later.

One person was injured in this accident and the individual was flown to hospital.

Three vehicles were reported to be involved in this accident. The trucks were loaded with paints, potatoes and cardboard papers, which increased the difficulties of rescue.

The fire service deployed 7 fire-fighting vehicles and 37 firefighters to the scene.

The cause was under investigation by the police.
