The process of winter started in Rajasthan from January 1 is continuously intensifying. It is getting cold like mountains in the desert region. Last day also, the effect of severe cold was seen in most of the districts of the state. At the same time, in many districts, the life of many people including traffic arrangements was also affected by dense fog. Most of the districts of the state remained in the grip of cold wave.

Dense fog has been recorded in some parts of Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Kota divisions. Along with Hanumangarh, Sikar, Churu and Mount Abu, cold wave also prevailed in Jaipur and other districts. Dense fog remained in these districts till 11 am. Due to this visibility remained negligible. Talking about the temperature, Fatehpur in Sikar had the lowest temperature in Rajasthan. The temperature was recorded minus 1.8 here. A drop in temperature was also observed in Mount Abu. Here too, snow and dew remained frozen at many places.
