This is the adorable moment a cute baby boy tried to lick his dad's chocolate ice cream cone.

Footage shows the five-month-old infant named Jemel bending his head with his lips pursed to try and taste the dessert his father was carrying in Chanthaburi, Thailand, on October 21.

The youngster's dad pulled the sweet away, but the baby would still not stop trying to reach it with his mouth.

Mother Nutchaya Boonpongpituk, who recorded the amusing encounter, said the parents did not give Jemel the ice cream because he is too young for the sweet treat.

She said: ‘Jemel is too young for ice cream but what's funny is he already knows which kinds of food are delicious. He never even tasted ice cream before but he was drawn to it like a magnet.

'He's going to be a big eater when he's old enough.'
