Tyre knocks police officer over after falling off truck in China
A tyre knocked a police officer over after falling off a truck in eastern China.
Terrifying CCTV footage filmed in the city of Tongling in Anhui Province on January 4 shows a tyre suddenly flying toward a police officer standing in front of a restaurant and knocking him to the ground.
A nearby resident ran to check on the officer as well as calling for help.
In the pictures, the restaurant's outer wall, glasses, and enclosure air conditioner were damaged by the tyre.
According to local police, the hub of a lorry's wheel was broken, causing the tyre to fly out and injure the police officer.
The police officer was sent to hospital for treatment and he was not in life-threatening condition.
