A wild panda was spotted walking through a villager’s yard in southern China.

The video was filmed in Lushan County in Sichuan Province on January 5.

According to a woman named Mou, her mother was washing vegetables in the backyard and suddenly saw the wild panda after turning around.

The panda then walked away.

Police have set up a security cordon around the area and the local forestry department has protected the giant panda.

According to WWF, there are around 1,800 left in the wild.
