For the past several days, continuous cold, heavy fog, fog and light drizzle are proving to be very beneficial for wheat and mustard crops. Dr. Ramesh Verma, Program Coordinator and Chief Scientist, Kaithal District Agricultural Science Center of Hisar Agricultural University, said that the continuous heavy cold, mist, fog and light drizzle for many days are very beneficial for wheat and mustard crops.He said that due to this, there is a very good split in wheat and mustard crops, due to which there is a possibility of good production of these crops and the farmers will be benefited a lot. Dr. Verma said that due to severe cold, heavy mist, fog, there may be some damage to the vegetable crops grown in the farmers' fields, but if the farmers do light irrigation in the vegetable crops, then the loss of vegetable crops will be reduced. .He advised cattle herders and farmers to keep their cattle safe from this harsh winter so that they do not get sick. He said that cattle herders and farmers should keep their animals in closed enclosures so that they can avoid the cold at night.Farmers of Kaithal district, ANGREJ SINGH and others, said in a conversation that along with severe winter, heavy mist, fog and light drizzle have been happening for many days, due to which wheat and mustard crops are showing good germination. He said that mist, fog and light drizzle are very beneficial for the wheat and mustard crops standing in his fields, due to which the production of wheat and mustard crops is expected to be very good.He said that to protect his animals from this severe winter, he is keeping them in closed cattle sheds so that they do not fall ill from this severe cold.
