Thousands of people took to the streets of Sydney, Australia on Sunday 8 January to oppose the government of Iran and mark the anniversary of the downing of Flight 752.
The Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737-800 was heading from Tehran to Kyiv when it was shot down shortly after takeoff by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), killing all 176 people on board.
The protest was also called as the latest in months of rallies against the Iranian regime following the death of Mahsa Amini in Iranian morality police custody.
People at the protest in Sydney chanted: "We want freedom for Iran!"
