Kitten stuck inside car engine to keep warm rescued by driver's kind neighbours
A kitten stuck inside car engine to keep warm was rescued by driver's kind neighbours.
The creature entered through the gap in the bonnet and slept inside the sedan in Phuket, Thailand, on November 27.
However, onlookers heard it was crying in the vehicle and informed the driver Nuengruethai Sriwattana, 32, who called for help.
Footage shows the driver's neighbours searching for the creature in her car. They soon pulled it out of the engine without special equipment.
Driver Nuengruethai said: ‘The neighbours called me and told me there was a kitten inside the car. I was shocked when I actually heard it crying.'
Nuengruethai added the kitten was overall healthy but it hurt its tail and body inside the engine.
She said: ‘I was relieved it was not hurt seriously.'
