A creative cook has solved the problem of carrying lunch and a drink by using two-in-one take-out containers with a straw poking through the food bowl.

Footage shows Deen Sran stir-frying spicy meat and vegetables before pouring the dinner into a plastic dish at his cafe in Songkhla province, Thailand on January 5.

The cook then attached the normal-looking container to a tall cup of cold boba tea.

Deen inserted a straw through a hole in the middle of the customized bowl, allowing customers to eat and drink their orders on the go. The creation also makes it easier to carry the dishes and keep one hand free.

Cook Deen said: "I saw this bowl before, but I did not know how to use it. I accidentally thought of the idea when I asked another of my staff to cook for me, and he used the bowl. I made a drink and placed it under the bowl. I showed it to my friends and it was popular".

Deen added that his cafe offers various fun and unique drinks and food.
