Mouthwatering footage shows how the delicious shaved ice dessert called bingsu is made at a Michelin rated cafe in Thailand.

The Thai tea-flavoured sweet has become a signature item at the Pang Cha Cafe in Bangkok.

The frozen dessert is made by dousing a huge pile of machine-grated ice with the shop's signature Thai tea concoction.

To make the dish even tastier, it is also served with a variety of toppings such as tapioca pearls, almond slivers, whipped cream, condensed milk, and bread cubes.

Though shaved ice treats are not uncommon around the world, this particular preparation - also called 'pang yen' meaning tea bread by the locals - showcases Thai tea as the main flavouring.

The huge portions also allow for generous servings shared among friends.

The Pang Cha Cafe is recommended in the Michelin guide for its desserts.
