To set a festive mood, he even decorated his bathroom with pink and blue foil strips and balloons.

The partygoers all crowded into the small toilet for the grand reveal, whipping out their phones to record the moment Banong pressed the flush button.

But instead of coloured smoke or confetti, a stream of blue-dyed water swirling down the bowl appeared as delighted visitors learned Banong was having a boy.

He said: "My son will be named Urbano Delos Angeles VI. I hope my guests enjoyed my low-budget gender reveal".
