Two green turtles, which were rescued after getting trapped in fishing nets, return to the sea. A group of marine life experts belonging to Fundacion Mundo Marino releases the endangered species on the beaches of San Clemente del Tuyu, Argentina.

The footage also shows children being taught not to leave their rubbish at the beach.

Before being freed, the turtles spent a month at a rescue centre.

The green sea turtles were rescued after becoming caught in artisanal fishing nets. The pair spent a month rehabilitating at a rescue centre before being released back into the ocean.

But before they swam out to sea, experts from the Fundacion Mundo Marino used them to demonstrate the dangers of plastic waste to ocean life.

In the footage, children are seen being taught what to do with their rubbish rather than just leave it on the beach.
