Truck hits pothole and spins out of control into row of parked cars
A tow truck spun out of control and hit a street lamp and several parked cars after driving over a pothole on a road in Thailand.
CCTV footage shows the yellow truck dragging along a detached lamppost before charging into the carpark and slamming into three pickup trucks in Chonburi province on January 4.
Locals rushed to the scene after hearing the loud crash, and found driver Thawatchai Srisang, 25, sitting on the ground with minor injuries.
An ambulance later arrived to bring him to a hospital for further treatment.
Bystander Amphol Narkthon, 43, said accidents often happened on the road after the contractor allegedly abandoned its construction. Large holes pocked the uneven asphalt, catching drivers off guard.
Amphol added this accident was the worst one yet, but was glad no one was seriously injured.
He said: 'I hope the authorities repair the road properly to avoid more accidents. If not, someone might be killed.'
