A wild boar dashing across a road knocked over a motorcyclist in eastern China.

Video filmed in the city of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province on January 7, shows a motorcyclist driving along a road.

However, a wild boar suddenly ran out and knocked the motorcyclist over.

The motorcyclist named Li then recorded a video and said: “A wild boar hit me and ran away. It was a hit and run.”

Although the motorbike was damaged, Li was not injured seriously.

Li has contacted the insurance company and his motorbike would be assessed for compensation.
