This is the shocking moment a steel coil came loose and rolled across a truck's trailer before crushing the cabin.

Security camera footage shows three steel coils chained to the vehicle's trailer while being transported through Dong Nai province on January 6.

When the traffic light flashed red, the truck braked at the junction, but the momentum caused one of the cylinders to slide forward as the chains holding it were improperly secured.

The object rolled forward and crushed the truck's cabin before falling onto the road.

Local media reported that no one was hurt in the accident.

A similar accident happened in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City last November, when a steel coil was sent flying onto a highway and caused traffic chaos.
