Horrified Thai man pulls massive 8ft-long tapeworm out of his backside
A horrified raw meat lover pulled a massive 8ft long tapeworm out of his backside - before watching it contort on his bathroom floor.
Ammarit Chuetamuen, 25, felt his buttocks itching while sitting at work so he took a deworming tablet when he reached home in Saraburi province, Thailand.
The Thai man, who claimed to have been eating raw meat dishes washed down with beer for the last three years, felt no symptoms overnight until he went to the toilet in the morning.
Disturbing footage shows the horrifying orange parasite still alive and twitching on the bathroom floor after it was expelled from the man's bowels on January 9. He used long tongs to spread the worm and find out its size.
He said: ‘When I was at work, I felt something moving on my butt and found a small worm when I went to the toilet.
‘I was afraid I had parasites inside me so I took Vermifuge before going to bed. I didn't feel anything unusual and went to relieve myself during my morning routine.'
The construction worker who was preparing to go to the office was shocked when he felt something crawl out of his backside after two minutes of sitting in the toilet.
He said: ‘I slowly pulled it out. It felt endless until everything was finally removed. It was very long, and I felt nauseous at the sight.'
The worker said he loved eating raw Thai dishes, including beef and pig's blood delicacies.
He said: ‘I used to love those dishes because they were very delicious but now I think I will have to take a break from them.
‘I also want to warn other people. Please make sure what you eat is clean so you don't end up like me.'
Tapeworms are ribbon-like parasites that live and grow within the human intestines. They enter the body as eggs, usually.
