An inexperienced camper hilariously burnt french fries while cooking outdoors for her family.

Supaporn Wetchakaree volunteered to deep fry the potato snack on the portable stove outside their tent in Chanthaburi province, Thailand on January 3.

The youngster was confident as she had finished a well-cooked golden brown batch before disaster struck unexpectedly.

Footage shows the frantic Supaporn nervously laughing as she rushed to salvage the fries off the burning plate.

She said: ‘There's so many distractions at the camp site and I didn't notice that the fire already touched my paper plate.

‘I could've burned the entire place down without help. No one was hurt though but they were laughing at me.'

Her family members had to help her transfer the food before the plate was engulfed.
