This is the hilarious moment a bunch of nurses delirious from panic chased ater a rat running through a hospital ward in Thailand.

The shrieking workers wielded various implements trying to catch the sizeable rodent terrorising the Fort Suranari Hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima province on December 4.

One nurse in a hair net had given up the fight and climbed atop a row of cabinets to escape, leaving her three colleagues to fend for themselves.

Another of the group threw a pink basin hoping to catch the rat underneath, but missed her target by several inches.

The remaining two carried a broom, dustpan, and bizarrely, a large rubbish bin, but also failed to snare the elusive rat that scurried away under a table.

The nurses eventually succeeded in cornering the rat, finally ending its reign of terror.
