A mum-of-three has gone viral after revealing how to minimise condensation in a few simple steps.

Nazia Ali, 30, a stay-at-home mum from London, lives with her three children aged 4,3 and 7 months, and often shares her top tips to make parenting life easier.

Due to her hectic schedule, she began looking for ways to simplify her daily tasks, such as cleaning and tidying, as well as trying out “savvy” hacks across her home.

Now, she’s revealed how to easily minimise condensation and reduce mould in a few steps, which most commonly occurs between October and April.

In one clip uploaded on TikTok, which has racked up 3.7 million views and over 24,000 likes, she carries out one of the hacks, before showing the results.

“I’ve tried out a number of condensation hacks on my page recently to show if they work,” Nazia, who shares her expert tips on TikTok, (@naziaxhome), told NeedToKnow.Online.

“One of them was a salt condensation hack, which requires you to place salt in a bowl next to the window and it picks up the moisture.

“I found this worked on the first day and was a super cheap, effective way to remove condensation, which I thought was great to share with my followers – especially during the cost of living crisis.

“It’s not so easy to fork out on expensive products now for many and condensation in winter is a very common issue.”

In the clip, she begins with wiping down her window, before squeezing a pea-sized amount of washing up liquid on a cloth.

She proceeds to wipe her window again and suggests for viewers to leave overnight for best results.

Users flocked to the comments to share their results, as well as their own tips and tricks.

“Put a bowl of salt on your window sill it will absorb a lot of the condensation,” one person said.

Another user added: “I’ve got a dehumidifier which does help.”

“Been doing it years it’s an old bikers trick,” someone else commented.

Nazia also recommends various other hacks, such as using washing up liquid to remove tough stains on clothing.

Another one of her tricks includes using a flash mop to clean walls, ceilings and harder to reach areas and using a dishwasher tablet to make sofas sparkly clean.

The mum-of-three added: “I started posting my journey of day-to-day home life and everyday cleaning in 2019.

“Soon, I started to discover cleaning hacks and home tips and tricks that would make my life so much easier with kids.

“I chose to share these with my followers as I know they could also help them.

“I personally had to discover these myself when I started cleaning and wish I had known them sooner to save me time being a very busy mum.”
