A lad was shocked to find a swarm of bees had destroyed his t-shirt.

Footage shows dozens of insects swarming around the nest attached to clothes hangers in Battambang, Cambodia, on January 9.

The pack had gnawed a hole in two shirts that were resting either side of the colony.

Youngster Seng Thai said: ‘I noticed a few bees coming in and out of our old cabinet, but I didn't mind them. While I was looking for a shirt, I checked inside and found the big ball. My shirt was destroyed too.

‘I didn't know they could build a house in a span of a few weeks.'
