Flooding has hit the River Avon hard, seen here on Friday (January 13) near Keynsham Park, UK as the river banks have burst.

I'm at my outdoor activity centre and the river has burst its bank. The water is about 1.5 metres almost over our gate leading to the river Avon. My slipway is lost and under 2-3 metres of water and it just looks like a massive lake. Heading towards Keynsham, the lockkepper pub is under water, narrow boats have drifted into the country fields, the weir has disappeared and part of Keynsham Park is under water.. thisnis incredible on the amount of rain that has come through. Can't imagine we had that drought only 4 months ago
