Footage shows wild monkeys damaging vehicles and climbing on people in Lopburi, Thailand, on Saturday, January 14.

The unruly primates have become a notorious tourist attraction in the small town centre some 90 miles north of the capital Bangkok.

Locals believe they bring good luck to the area and tolerate them causing have while roaming freely among buildings. The animals have even spawned into highly aggressive territorial troops with different homes, including an ancient Buddhist temple, an abandoned cinema and a railway line.

Officials have been unable to control the population and with holidaymakers, including those from China, flooding back to the country, the animals are regularly being fed energy-inducing sugary snacks.
