Lucky man finds diamond in rubbish near mine in Madhya Pradesh, India
A lucky man named Indrajit Sarkar found a diamond in the rubbish near a mine in Jaruapur village, India's Madhya Pradesh, on January 11. At the beginning, Sarkar thought it was just a stone and found out it was an expensive diamond later.
The footage shows the precious stone being carefully examined by a man with the help of special lenses.
The stone is a four-carat diamond, worth between Rs 20 lakh (USD 24,604.64) to Rs 25 lakh (USD 30,755.80).
The diamond will be put up for auction in the coming days. The profit, after tax, will be Sarkar's.
