This daring Burmese snake charmer does death-defying performances as he shoves live cobras into his mouth.

Snake master U Sein Tin, 68, courts death regularly, toying with angry cobras he catches in the jungle to entertain mesmerised spectators on the outskirts of Yangon, Myanmar.

The seasoned pensioner expertly handles the venomous reptiles as he is able to easily read their movements and evade their deadly strikes from decades of experience.

As if mocking the beasts, he even slips them into his mouth and clamps down using his teeth to keep them from moving.

Incredible footage shows how U Sein Tin distracts the brightly dyed snakes using a piece of cloth while the furious creatures chase after him.

U Sein Tin, who has been nicknamed 'the man who bites snakes', claimed he has been bitten more than 40 times over the course of his colorful 30-year career.

He said: 'I was even bitten by a king cobra, and I have been rushed to the emergency department of Yangon Hospital five times.

'People should not copy me unless they have experience handling venomous snakes.'

He revealed that his secret to cheating death is the numerous traditional tattoos on his body, believed to shield him from snake venom.

U Sein Tin also follows an unwritten snake charmer's jungle code of never eating snakes and not committing adultery.

The snake charmer currently spends his spare time tending to animals at the Yangon Zoo Animal Conservation and Medical Department.
