Couple run to welcome daughter who drove 1,000km back home for Chinese New Year
A couple ran to welcome their daughter who drove more than 1,000 kilometres back home for Chinese New Year in central China.
Heartwarming video filmed in the city of Yichang in Hubei Province on January 4 shows a woman and a man running out of their house happily as their daughter drove back home for Chinese New Year.
According to reports, the woman named Ren got married in Guangdong Province which is more than 1,000 kilometres away from her hometown.
She departed Guangdong at 5:00 am and drove for around 12 hours to reach her parents’ house in Hubei Province.
As Ren wanted to surprise her parents, she did not tell them in advance.
Ren said it was worth the long drive when she saw her parents were so happy to see her.
