Interview with Santa Barbara flood victim Nelson Hernandez
Nelson Hernandez Palenco, lives on Spring Street on the lower East Side of Santa Barbara, one of the streets that experienced the worst flooding. His car was soaked during the harsh rains that caused the overflow of a canal. His truck was filled with water and the grounds of his house had several feet as well. Today a friend helped him make repairs and he was drying out his car, as well as placing sandbags in front of his house door, in preparation of this weekend’s anticipated rains.
