Ukrainians and their supporters protest against the Russian Red Cross

A statement by organisers of the protest says:
“During the past few weeks, we have learned about the russian Red Cross stealing property of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Crimea under the quiet approval from other offices and from the ICRC. We have seen the news about the russian Red Cross fundraising for making military uniforms for russian soldiers, training their military personnel in tactical medicine, as well as fundraising for the families of active soldiers through a program directly initiated and controlled by the russian government. The russian Red Cross repeatedly violates the principles of neutrality and its consistently biased acts show that it is siding with the aggressor and is aiding the russian federation and its military in the illegal war against Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens.”
