While Kathleen Scruton fully expected Morro Bay to incur some serious damage at the hands of winter storms, she had no idea things would get so out of hand.

This video shows a startled Kathleen taking a tour of her locality and seeing almost everything drenched in flood water.

"During the bomb cyclone storm in Morro Bay on January 9, 2023, my sister texted me and said I should check the creek in my neighborhood," the filmer told WooGlobe. "I drove down two blocks, went around the corner, and saw that the creek had breached the neighborhood streets and dog park. The neighborhood shown here is bordered by the creek."
