Drone captures spectacular pink beach in Indonesia
A woman named Helen captured the beauty of Indonesia's Padar island while touring Komodo in 2019.
The drone footage shows a beautiful vast expanse of pink sand and clear blue water.
Helen explained: "The colour is due to red foraminifera, single-celled marine organisms with reddish shells, found on the nearby coral reefs. It was a particularly vibrant, clear sunny day so it was perfect for drone footage".
She added: "The water was a cloudy blue with a lot of sand churning about which made it ideal for these clips to highlight the pink sand".
This pink beach gets its colour from nearby coral.
