Two pet goats stuck in a drain were rescued in Thailand.

The female creatures were released onto a field to feed on grass but went missing in Pattaya on January 12.

After two days, the creatures, both one-year old, were found under a 5ft deep unfinished drain outside an abandoned building before rescuers were called.

Footage shows volunteers setting up a pulley on top of the narrow hole before a worker climbs down to pull them on January 14.

The owner Pipoppat Rattanaburi, 48, said: ‘They disappeared without a trace until my son found them.'

The staff could not get into the drain because it was too small. A volunteer had to climb down and tie the creatures to a rope.

It took around two hours before the rescuers successfully rescued them and returned to their delighted owners.
