This is the scary moment a ferocious cobra tried to slither through a family's patio door in Thailand.

The deadly reptile was spotted by garden workers at Thai actress Koi Ratchawin's house on the island of Phuket on January 11.

It slithered through the grass and hid inside a rolled-up rug while the terrified homeowners called security guards for help.

Footage shows officers wrangling the angry beast that flared its hood and snapped at them after being disturbed. They pinned it down using a pole while the cobra twisted its body around the tool and bared its fangs.

The specialists managed to seal it inside a sack without issue, and no one was harmed by the snake.

Koi said: 'Just seeing the cobra outside was so scary. If it had been able to get inside I would have froze.'
