A man's hair was set on fire by a lit candle on a birthday cake while kissing his girlfriend in central China.

Video filmed in Xinxiang City in Henan Province on November 30, 2022 shows a man's hair being ignited by the lit candle on his birthday cake when he turned his head to kiss his girlfriend.

He then used his hand to put the fire out.

According to the woman, they did not realise her boyfriend's hair was on fire until a waitress walking past told them.

A Chinese man got fire on his hair lit by candles at his birthday party in the northern central region of China.

Video filmed in Henan’s Xinxiang City on November 30 shows a couple celebrating the boy’s birthday with a friend. When they bowed their heads to kiss, the birthday candles lighted the boy’s hair.

Then he was stunned to touch his hair and extinguished the fire with his palm.

According to his girlfriend, they did not realize the fire was burning at that time until a waitress passing by reminded them about it.
