Eight pigs fell off a transport truck in a tunnel in eastern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Ningbo in Zhejiang Province on January 16 shows pigs falling out of a transport truck when it was driving through a tunnel.

According to reports, the highway police controlled the traffic at the entrance of the tunnel after they spotted the incident.

The truck driver named Jiang did not realise the incident until the police contacted him.

Jiang said to the police, he did not lock the pigsty properly before starting the journey, causing the incident.

The police and the highway maintenance officers helped reload the eight pigs, which weighed more than 150 kilograms each onto the truck and the police car escorted it to leave the highway safely.
