Several cars exploded into flames on Monday after a collision at the entrance of a tunnel in southern China.

In the footage, captured by a bystander in Guangdong Province, a huge fire can be seen lighting up the tunnel with a plume of smoke rising up into the air.

According to news reports, six vehicles were involved in the crash, while the last car smashed the petrol tank of the front one which ignited the fire. The two vehicles were completely destroyed.

The accident caused traffic delays for more than two hours.

The accident caused traffic delay in almost two kilometres for over two hours. No injuries were reported.
