A sambar deer was rescued after it was spotted inside a house in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

The incident reportedly happened in the premises of Ravi Parihar's house under Vijayraghavgarh forest zone, Katni district on January 21.

Visuals showed the deer standing inside the house premise. According to a report, the deer was captured and rescued by the forest department. The rescue operation was led by Range Officer Vivek Jain. The deer was later seen captured inside a net. After the rescue it was released into the wild.

It was also learnt the police also played an active part in assisting the forest department in this operation as they managed a crowd of about 1000 people, which had gathered at the spot.
