This roti seller has become a local hit as she fills hungry tourists' bellies with delicious street food in Thailand.

Khun Puy, a former factory worker, serves her popular sweet fried roti at her stall along Silom road in the Patpong area of Bangkok.

Footage shows how the industrious vendor runs her one-woman shop. She first kneads the dough to relax it before shaping it into a square and throwing it onto a hot oil-coated pan.

When the flatbread starts to crispen, she tops it with a generous amount of eggs and sliced bananas, which she encases in dough to create a gooey filling.

The final product looks like an envelope and is slathered with a drizzling of condensed milk and sugar.

Khun Puy said she makes more than 400 pieces of roti a day.

Her cart has become popular for its unique dough, which uses pandan leaves to enhance the flavour, but residents said locals and tourists alike also flock to gawk at the pretty vendor.

Khun Puy said: ‘I decided to take over my father's roti business when he became too old to run it on his own. We mix real pandan in the flour so it smells very nice. Our roti is also very popular with tourists.'
