At the time of the incident, many residents were initially swept away by the current, but the residents managed to survive by clinging to the fences of the residents' houses and finally entered the house.

One of the residents of Desi said that the overflow water from the Batu Busuk River suddenly overflowed. With the rainy weather conditions, many residents are in the house.

"When I was in the house, people outside were screaming for help, when I looked out the water was as tall as an adult," he said.

As a result of the flash floods, dozens of residents' houses were destroyed, and many residents' vehicles were swept away by the water, when the floodwaters overflowed.

"Until now there has been no information on the victim, because the atmosphere at the location was at night and dark," he said.

Currently local residents are still looking for their relatives at the location. When the water discharge still reaches the knees of adults.

"Currently, the water is still as high as an adult's knees, while the weather is still raining. For fear of flash floods, residents will likely evacuate," he explained.
