US Coast Guard rescues more than 390 people off overcrowded boat near Andros Island, Bahamas

They said that the Coast Guard Cutter Legare’s crew worked with the Royal Bahamas Defence Force to catch up with the “unsafe, overloaded Haitian sailing vessel."

Authorities in the Bahamas said that the passengers of the vessel would be handed over to immigration officials.
