A cold snap brought heavy snow to a city in eastern China.

Video filmed in the city of Yantai in Shandong Province on January 24 shows the strong winds blowing the snow into the air causing low visibility and a woman struggling to move forward on the snow-covered ground.

Another video shows ice formations covering a bridge on the coast.

According to reports, Shandong City has issued a yellow warning (the second strongest) for the cold wave and gale, and a yellow warning (the lowest level) for the road icing.

The expressway in Yantai City is closed in both directions due to snowfall, 144 bus routes were suspended and more than 40 passenger-rolling boats and 250 tourist boats stopped sailing to take shelter.

More than 2,440 snow-clearing personnel and 800 pieces of equipment have been dispatched to clean the snow.

据了解，因降雪烟台市境内高速公路双向封闭；144条公交线路停运；40余艘客滚船、250余艘旅游船停航避风。当地累计出动清雪人员2440余人次、清雪设备800余台次完成清雪保通任务。
