Multi-coloured cloud appears above Chinese city
A multi-coloured cloud was spotted above a city in southern China.
The video was filmed in Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province on January 25.
Colourful clouds such as this are sometimes caused by cloud iridescence which is a colorful optical phenomenon that occurs in a cloud and appears in the general proximity of the Sun or Moon. It's caused by water droplets or ice crystals scattering light.
