On Friday, 27 January 2023 at 17:00, six Femen activists with their chests naked staged a protest in Retiro Park, downtown Madrid.

They held banners that read "Spain, country of femicides", "48 minors killed since 2013", "We're not born to be killed" and "Because we're women / Not one less".

While people who were enjoying the sunset watched were caught by surprise and watched the protest, which lasted about 8 minutes, After the activists finished, they left before the police came.

In 2022, 99 women were killed in Spain by their male parter, according to feminicidio.net.
